About Me

I live in Greensboro, NC, USA with my wife and our teenage son. Our family also includes a sweet little border collie-Rottweiler mix rescue dog and a bearded dragon.

I love to travel—our whole family does, and we’ve been fortunate to travel to Taiwan, Germany, Poland, Turkey, and Peru, as well as a cross-country road trip of the USA. We have Vietnam, India, and Thailand on our short list. During my time in the Navy, I got to experience Bahrain, The United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Ecuador, The Philippines, Singapore, Hong Kong, South Korea, Japan, Canada, Mexico, and Hawaii.

I enjoy baseball and hockey and am a big fan of the Washington Nationals and Carolina Hurricanes. I’m also an avid reader of history, especially of the middle 20th century.
